To summarise the network connectivity:
· ADC-1 NIC1:
o Public IP1 -> Private IP1 -> NIC
· ADC-2 NIC1:
o Public IP2 -> Private IP2 -> NIC
· ADC-1 NIC2:
o Elastic IP -> Private IP3 -> NIC
o "nothing" -> Private IP4 -> NIC
The term “nothing” refers to the NIC not having the Elastic IP connected to it and waiting for the switchover in case of service failure.
