The Kub-IC, ingress controller for Kubernetes has been specifically engineered for use with the Edgenexus EdgeADC, and is the very latest feature expansion from Edgenexus.

  • Simple and easy to install, and configure, the Kub-IC provides an easy path to load balancing traffic directly to the Kubernetes pods and services.
Edgenexus Kub-IC Ingress Controller for Kubernetes

Kub-IC installs within the Kubernetes platform, and talks directly to the EdgeADC using the Edgenexus RESTful API, allowing direct creation of ingress VIP, and the Real Server (pods) together with the flightPATH rules required for seamless operations.

  • Fully automated creation of the Ingress VIP and real server mapping to Pods.
  • Automated handling of any auto-scaling of the Service, and its Pods and Nodes.
  • Auto flightPATH rule creation and configuration via Service YAML file.

Pre-Requisites

  • Minimum of one licensed and operational EdgeADC load balancer.
  • Access at root level to the Kubernetes system for installation and configuration.
